Light Being Prayer

Eternal Spirit, Holy and Gracious One,

 

Thank you for the new light of each day,

for lighting our way, for shedding light

on the mysterious ways in which you work in our lives.

 

Hold us gently in your wise and powerful hands.

Keep us connected to and grateful for

the magnificent earth and life you have entrusted to us;

help us hold precious and not take for granted

these unfathomable gifts.

Bring us safely through the dark of our nights,

weaving the threads of our lives into the

brilliant and intricate tapestry of your plan for all.

 

May we not forget who we are —

whole and holy, beings of light.

We ask for strength and courage to stand

in the truth of who we are.

May we stay connected to and radiate

your warmth and light from deep within,

through the vibrant expression of True Selves,

contributing to a humanity alight with Love.
